Hand Painted Silks

Mel Bradley hand-painted silks have a special quality of their own. Each piece of fine silk is a uniquely designed, elegant fashion accessory.

Mel began painting her original silks at the Tower Design Centre, Dublin, in 1983. She has been designing and painting silks to commission for well established fashion designers such as john Rocha and Louise Kennedy since 1991.

Mel has also worked with Jen Kelly and R.T.E. on the design and painting of the large 'River God's Cloak' and other costumes for 'Riverdance'.

Recently Mel launched her new collection of hand painted silk velvet and silk satin devoree scarves, evening wraps and cloaks at DesignYard Gallery, Temple Bar, and Dublin.
